My skincare routine

I really hate my skin: it's greasy, dry and very, very spotty. No matter what I use, I can't seem to keep it looking nice and not feeling too horrid. I can for a while and then it's almost as if my skin develops immunity to the products.

That being said, I switched up my skincare about a month ago and it seems to be holding up reasonably well so far, so I thought I would share it with you.

Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions 3-Step System
I have wanted this for so long, and that want was amplified when Ingrid (Missglamorazzi on YouTube) talked about how much it was a saviour for her oily skin. I've been using it twice daily for about a month now and my blemishes are starting to clear up. I have to say it is quite drying, which is probably a good thing, but the drier patches of my skin are not appreciating it too much.
I have also been using their spot treatment gel to fight off spots before they start to appear, and I think it's working, but there are still some that seem to sneak through, which is quite annoying.

L'oreal Skin Perfection Advanced Correcting Serum
I bought a set filled with all of the Skin Perfection products (apart from the primer which I'm unsure if I want since seeing a couple of very so-so reviews) when returning from my holiday. I've been using this twice a day and I've seen a serious improvement in my pores and red patches on my cheeks where I've been scarred by acne. It's going down quite quickly though, as I've found that one pump isn't enough to cover my whole face.

L'oreal Skin Perfection Correcting Day Moisturiser
I've been using this just in the morning, and on the odd dry patches in the evening. It's a beautiful velvety texture and would actually work nicely for my oily skin as a night cream as it is not too heavy. I think both this and the serum are working wonderfully together to improve my skin.

L'oreal Skin Perfection Awakening Correcting Eye Cream

I actually have a really horrendous eye area - dark circles, bags, fine lines and little white lumps in the dark circles. I am yet to find the magic product that will at least get one of these concerns under wraps (and no, it's not a sleep thing - I was born with them). I don't think that this is that magic product, I've been using it for a month and I think if there's been any change, it's been so minimal that I don't think it was worth it. But I'm going to keep using it and hoping (maybe the placebo effect is a thing?)

L'oreal Skin Perfection 3-in-1 Purifying Micellar Solution

I guess this is just your bog standard Micellar water - they're everywhere at the moment and this is the one that I currently have to hand because it came in the set. Totally bog standard and does what it says on the bottle (though I do have to say that I prefer this one to the Garnier one, as it doesn't sting my eyes).

I plan to do a more thorough review of the products in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled!
