The February box, as always, is a valentines themed. This means that the box is a special design.
Now, I'm not a huge fan of the boxes that deviate from the usual design, and this is no exception. In fact, I think this is my least favourite of them all - it just looks SO tacky!
(Sidenote: I'm not a fan of the new box and ribbon designs, there was nothing wrong with the old ones and I liked using the ribbons in my hair)
As well as the usual Glossymag and product card, there's a competition card to win £1000 holiday vouchers with Mr & Mrs Smith. I need to decide on my favourite lippy for kissing the card and entering the competition - fingers crossed for me?
And now on to the products. We got really lucky this month, with FOUR full-size items, one "miniature" (still a 100ml sample), plus a chocolate bar (yum), and the value of the products in total is £31.57
I'm sure I will give it a try, but I'm not sold on it as of now.
This is a full size sample and retails at £2.99
This is the Nougat London Sparkling Body Shimmer in Cherry Blossom and my gosh it smells AMAZING. Basically, this product is intended to give your décolletage a glamorous shimmer and your legs look longer, all while making you smell awesome.
I'm not sure about this other than the smell, because I can't imagine being a marginally sparkly vampire is a good every day look, but it could look beautiful for a formal event. We'll give it a shot one day.
This is a 100ml sample, and the 250ml full size retails for £14
I won't be trying this product myself, but I will be passing it on to my boyfriend, since I don't really have the hair for it. It is the Tony & Guy Stick It Up Gum from their Hair Meets Wardrobe range. I always find that these products smell so so good, but there isn't anything distinctive about it. I have no clue what this is going to be like, but I know that it won't be me finding out.
This is a full-size product and it retails for £7.20
I love getting eyeliners in glossyboxes, I don't feel like I've found my "perfect" one yet and it's great that I get to try different ones that I wouldn't necessarily have tried if I was buying one in a drug store. This is the Maybelline Master Kajal Liner in Pitch Black. I've always got on well with Maybelline products, and I'm sure this will be no exception: I'm actually really excited to try it!
I am concerned that it's not going to hold its shape and get progressively more difficult to use, but I'm sure I'll see over time.
This is a full-sized item and retails for £5.99
Mmmm, chocolate! More specifically, Lindt Lindor, my absolute favourite chocolate of all time. My face actually lit up when I saw this, I really am the ultimate girl where chocolate is concerned. I assure you, this won't last long!
This is a full-size item and retails for 79p
Finally, the item I've been most excited for is this Ciaté London Paint Pot. Glossybox released a spoiler that we would all be receiving a paint pot*, and I got the shade Sugared Almonds. Ciaté is my all-time favourite nail brand and thankfully I don't already have this shade but I am really excited to try it. The colour is a very pinky nude shade and I hope it will look nice next to my pale skin.
This is a full-size pot and retails for £9
*Irish subscribers cannot recieve nail varnish due to shipping laws
Glossybox is a monthly subscription box, available for £10 plus shipping from Glossybox.co.uk
Did anyone get anything different in their box or have tried any of the products that I received in mine? Let me know in the comments!
